• Containerized Hydraulic Power Plant for Offshore Environments

Advanced engineering solutions in the Offshore industry

Why build a Containerized Hydraulic Power Plant?

In the Offshore sector, the need to operate in marine environments with high salinity and humidity, often at risk of explosion, requires advanced engineering solutions. In this context, the construction of a Containerized Hydraulic Power Plant is a benchmark for ensuring safety, efficiency and durability.

Robustness and Reliability

The Containerized Hydraulic Power Plant for Offshore

The Containerized HPU Hydraulic Power Plant has been carefully designed and built to meet the specific requirements ofoperation in marine environments and tropical climates.

Its robust structure, made of heavy carbon steel carpentry, is an assurance of strength and durability even in the most extreme environmental conditions.

Thanks to its focused design and choice of materials, this Hydraulic Power Plant is able to meet the challenges imposed by the salinity of the marine environment and tropical humidity, ensuring reliable and continuous operation.

Operational and resistance characteristics

Safety, durability and draticity for the most extreme conditions

Suitability for hazardous environments

The power plant is designed to operate in Hazardous area Zone 2, Gas Group IIA and Temperature Class T3, ensuring maximum safety during operation.

Corrosion resistance

Solutions have been adopted to minimize the risk of galvanic corrosion, mainly due to contact between different metal materials in a high salinity and humidity environment.

Containerized structure

The support base ensuresproper installation and fixing of the power plant, while also ensuring its transportability.

Safety features

Technical solutions for safety and certification of hydraulic components

Safety against water infiltration

Doors, removable panels and openings are designed to prevent water ingress from outside, preventing any damage to internal components.

Certified piping and blocks

Rigid piping, tubing and hose fittings are made with stainless steel shanks and complete with ABS Type Approval Certificate.
Hydraulic blocks come with Certificate 3.1, and ultrasonic, dimensional and functional checks have been performed to ensure performance and durability.

Testing and Quality Control

Ensuring reliability and safety through rigorous testing and verification

Before commissioning, our team subjected the power plant to a series of tests and quality checks to ensure its proper operation and compliance with safety standards:

  • Tank cleanliness and tightness check
We conducted a rigorous internal tank cleanliness check and leak test to ensure the integrity of the system.
  • Testing of valve blocks and piping
Valve blocks are pressure tested to check their tightness and flow performance. Rigid and flexible piping are pressure tested to ensure there are no leaks.
  • Painting
A uniform and durable painting has been carried out, which will protect the structure from the corrosive action of the marine environment, in accordance with the CX cycle with thicknesses up to 600 μm.

Innovation in safety and efficiency Offshore

A technological advancement for extreme marine environments

The implementation of a Containerized Hydraulic Power Plant, specially designed to withstand the most extreme marine environments, represents a significant leap forward in ensuring the safety and efficiency of Offshore operations, especially in critical and adverse environmental conditions.Through extensive engineering design, Hydroservice has developed a Containerized Hydraulic Power Plant that not only meets the specific needs of the Offshore industry, but also excels in terms of reliability and durability.

The selection of high-quality materials, such as stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant alloys, ensures structural strength that can withstand the most demanding marine conditions. In addition, Hydroservice has taken a rigorous approach to quality control throughout the entire manufacturing and assembly process.

Every component of the power plant undergoes extensive testing to ensure that it meets the highest standards of safety and performance. From tank leak tests to performance testing of valve blocks and piping, every step of the manufacturing process is carefully monitored to ensure that the power plant is able to operate reliably and continuously.

Thanks to these combined efforts in design, materials and quality control, Hydroservice's Containerized Hydraulic Power Plant represents not only an advanced technological solution, but also a benchmark for the offshore industry, ensuring optimal performance even in the most extreme marine conditions.
